Free Torbie Contest!

 Important! Please read this page in its entirety before participating in the contest. There are some rules that need to be followed to give everyone a fair chance to win. 

Important Update - 1/27 - I will actually be closing this now on February 1st at 11:59 PM EST. There will not be a question on the 1st, but I want everyone to have a full day to answer the last question that I post. The last question will be different from all others, and you will only have ONE chance to get it right as opposed to three. Also, you will not be informed whether or not your answer was correct until the contest closes and I draw the winners.

So here's how this is going to work. Each day until January 31st there will be a riddle or a word scramble that has something to do with Cyska Siberians. I ask that you please NOT POST THE ANSWERS HERE. Sorry for the caps, but I want to make sure this doesn't happen.

So that people in all time zones can participate, I ask that you send the answers to my email, Azkani.Karma@yahoo.com. If you can, put in the subject line something like "Blog Contest". Also please leave your full username in the email so I know who you are.  I will reply and let you know whether or not you get it right, so if not, you can try again. You will have up to 3 guesses for each day's puzzle. If you do not get it in three guesses, you'll have to try again the next day with a new riddle or scramble.

This will be open until 11:59 EST on the 31st of January. On February 1st, I will figure out who has the most answers right and that person will get a 100% free Tortoiseshell Tabby kitty. In the event of a tie, I will put the names in a hat and have my mother draw for each place. Here are the prizes:

Please Note: If you post your answer to the blog, the first time it will be deleted and you will be warned to use my email. If you do post a second time here, you will be disqualified. I really don't want to do that, but I don't want answers repeatedly posted because it obviously lets other people just copy instead of figuring it out for themselves. Also, please do not share answers with friends, this will be considered cheating and both parties will be disqualified. I want everyone to have an equal chance at winning. Just remember, the more people that know the answers, the less chance you have of winning. :)

1/31 Breeding Question: Well today is the last day of the contest! (The last day that I will be posting a riddle anyhow, the contest technically ends tomorrow), so I will be asking a special breeding question:

I have a Female Solid Tortoiseshell cat and a Male Orange Tabby. I plan to breed them to get kittens. There will be 4 kittens to the litter.

If the female is aa, Oo  and the male is AA, OY what are the four kittens that will be produced from this litter?

Please list the following - The phenotype of cat (such as Tortie), the gender of each kitten, and genotype each kitten will have (such as Aa, Oo). If you have any questions about this, please feel free to email me. Good luck! You will not be told if your answers are correct until the contest ends, however if you leave out a piece of one of the answers, such as gender for the kittens, you will be told which part you left out and will be asked to send the full answer.

One last UPDATE: Sorry if this was not clear, but people are not putting this in their answers and it is extremely important that you do. I need to know if the kittens are Tabby or Solid. So if a kitten is, say an Orange Female, please specify if that Orange Female is a Tabby or a Solid. Thank you.
